Abstract
Vinyltoluene and divinylbenzene were copolymerized in suspension to obtain copolymers with different cross-linking degrees. The copolymer beads were c haracterized by specific density measurements and their equilibrium swellin g in various solvents was investigated. The average molecular weights betwe en cross-links were calculated based on swelling and glass transition tempe rature data.
