Abstract
Thermomechanical properties of ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene are studied over a wide range of temperatures and pressures. The effective conc entration of the sites of the three-dimensional network of the starting and gamma-irradiated ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene is calculated.
