Abstract
New iron(II) complexes with 1,2,4-triazole (TR) and 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole (ATR), Fe(TP)(3)SiF6 . H2O (I) and Fe(ATP)(3)SiF6 (II), were synthesized. A ccording to magnetochemical measurements, both compounds possess the (1)A(1 ) reversible arrow T-5(2) spin transition. In II, this transition is sharp though incomplete. The temperatures of the direct (T(c)up arrow) and revers e (T(c)down arrow) transitions are 254.5 and 241 K, respectively; Delta T-c = 13.5 K. The mu(eff)(T) curve points to a high residual content of the hi gh-spin form of the complex at low temperatures. In I, the transition is le ss sharp and occurs at a high temperature (T(c)up arrow approximate to 380 K).
