Abstract
The kinetics of acid-base interaction between octa(p-nitrophenyl)tetraazapo rphine and nitrogen-containing bases in benzene was studied. The rates of t he process were found to be low. The structure of protolytes was shown to c orrelate with their reactivity. A scheme is suggested for the intermolecula r transfer of sterically screened protons of the NH groups of octa(p-nitrop henyl)tetraazaporphine in the n-butylamine-benzene system. Assumptions as t o the structure of the compounds were made, and their stability in time was studied.
