In this paper the work presented in [A. Klar and R. Wegener, A hierarchy of
models for multilane vehicular traffic I: Modeling, SIAM J. Appl. Math., 5
9 (1999), pp. 983-1001] is continued. The present article contains detailed
numerical investigations of the models developed there. A numerical method
to treat the kinetic equations obtained in the aforementioned paper is pre
sented. Space homogeneous and inhomogeneous situations are considered.
