Abstract
Ni-catalyzed coupling reaction of alkynes with (Z)-3-halopropenoates depend ed on the halogen of halopropenoates. The reaction with (Z)-3-bromopropenoa te afforded cyclopentadienes and the reaction with Q-3-iodopropenoates gave pyrones. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
