Abstract
18-Hydroxycorticosterone and 18-hydroxy-11-desoxycorticosterone, were obtai ned via hypoiodination of 20-hydroxy derivatives. The absolute configuratio ns of the C-20 were established by X-ray, only the 20S alcohols reacted und er the hypoiodination conditions. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
