Abstract
A number of N-acylalkylenediamines were synthesized in high yields by in si tu monoamidation of carboxylic acids with diamines. The amidation reactions were carried out simply by heating the substrates at 110 degrees C for 5-2 4 h in the presence of HMDS. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. Al l rights reserved.
