Vm. Vorotyntsev et al., Profound cleaning of argon and helium from water by diffusion through a cellulose acetate membrane, THEOR F CH, 33(2), 1999, pp. 164-168
Cleaning of argon and helium from water by diffusion through a cellulose ac
etate membrane was studied theoretically and experimentally. It was shown t
hat longitudinal mixing in the low-pressure (vacuum) space is the key facto
r that specifies the separation capacity of membrane cleaners having high-s
electivity membranes with low permeability with respect to the primary comp
onent.
