Dma. Melo et al., Evaluation of the relative acid strength of copper supported in gamma-alumina by TG and DSC, THERMOC ACT, 328(1-2), 1999, pp. 195-199
The relative acid strength of copper was evaluated by thermogravimetry (TG)
and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) methods, using n-butylamine as
a molecular probe. The total acidity was calculated from TG curves whereas
the relative acid strength was determined from DSC curves, using the Borch
ardt-Daniels kinetic model. Acidity and active sites were measured by IR sp
ectroscopy. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
