Abstract
The time-resolved IR chemiluminescence method, based on the study of lumine scence of vibrationally excited molecules formed in chemical reactions, is considered. The expedients used to study elementary reactions and complex p rocesses are described systematically. The method in compared with other me thods used to study gas-phase chemical kinetics.
