Dialdehyde-containing nucleic acid and their components: Synthesis, properties and affinity modification of proteins

Synthesis, structure and chemical properties of dialdehyde nucleoside deriv atives are described. The ways of aldehyde group introduction into oligonuc leotides are discussed. The methods for the affinity modification of protei ns by periodate-oxidised derivatives of nucleic acids are considered.
