Abstract
This paper describes a technique for implantation of the CLARION(R) Multi-S trategy(TM) Cochlear Implant based upon the authors' surgical experience wi th the device. Although much of the procedure is similar to many commonly p erformed otologic operations, including implantation of other cochlear pros theses, several device-specific modifications are highlighted. Those modifi cations include a substantial bony seat, facial recess, and cochleostomy, a nd the use of an electrode insertion tool.
