Abstract
This paper considers the so-called model-based approach to anti-windup comp ensation and analyses the stability of the closed-loop system for a class o f input nonlinearities. The degrees of freedom in the anti-windup scheme ar e used to minimise the H-infinity norm of the transfer function around the nonlinearity and the Small Gain Theorem is used to prove stability.
