Abstract
Astomiopsis magilliana Snider, Yip, & Clark, sp. nov. is newly described fr
om Natal, South Africa. The new species resembles Astomiopsis subulata C. M
uell., brit differs in having an obliquely long rostrate operculum, ovate p
erichaetial leaves, and bistratose upper leaf lamina.
