Abstract
In the framework of Rogersian psychotherapeutic approach, the transfer and counter-transfer usually don't occur If the transfer appears, it is underst ood as a consequence of a "technical error", following from the fact that t he client was not given the optimal relationship offer. The counter-transfe r in the therapist testifies the insufficient distinguishing or elaborating his/her "weak places" during the training or it is the symptom of dissatis faction in his/her personal life. In the study, the most frequent manifesta tions of counter-transfer and the ways how to treat them are discussed. The supervision is stressed that protects the client from the injury, ensures the quality of the treatment and takes part in the therapist's professional and personality growth.
