Abstract
The dinuclear organometallic thiotitanate anion [(CpTiS)(2)(mu-S)(2)](2-) r eacted with [Cp*Ru(mu(3)-Cl)](4), [(cod)M(mu-Cl)](2) (M = Rh, Ir) and [Cu(m u(3)-Cl)(PPh3)](4) to afford the early-late heterobimetallic cubane-type su lfide clusters [(CpTi)(2)(Cp*Ru)(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)], [(CPTi)(2) {M(cod)}(2)(mu (3)-S)(4)] and [(CpTi)(2){Cu(PPh3)}(2)(mu(3)-S)(4)], respectively.
