Abstract
Fullerene dimers C-120 and C120O undergo oxidation to cation radicals and d issolution in fuming sulfuric acid. Electron paramagnetic resonance study r evealed the formation of mono-charged C-120(+) and C120O+, as well as doubl e-charged C120O2+.
