The comparison of measured and calculated solar radiations in Trabzon, Turkey

There are many locations where no measured data on diffuse radiation are av ailable in Turkey, so it has to be estimated from empirical correlations. I n order to obtain the diffuse radiation for practical application at variou s locations, seven theoretical models for calculating the monthly-mean, dai ly, diffuse radiation as a function of atmospheric parameters were applied to measured data in Trabzon. Results of error analyses and monthly-mean, da ily, diffuse calculations are given.
