Abstract
We propose to test perturbative QCD(pQCD) in the Regge limit by means of di ffractive photon scattering, gamma p --> gamma X, at large and very high en ergies,W-2 much greater than much greater than Lambda(QCD)(2). The helicity amplitudes of this process were calculated using the Lipatov solution of t he BFKL equation for t not equal 0. We found that the perturbatively calcul ated cross section for this process is comparable in magnitude to the cross section for J/Psi photoproduction assuming similar kinematics.
