Abstract
Complexes of copper(II), nickel(II) and iron(III) with beta-lactamase inhib itor sulbactam have been synthesized, characterized and identified by eleme ntal analysis, IR and H-1 NMR spectroscopy. These complexes have been then tested for their in vitro antibacterial activity in combination with ampici llin against various bacterial species. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
