Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during spring seasons of 1995 and 1996 to study the comparative effect of organic manures and N + P2O5 fevers alone a nd in combination on sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.). Sunflower hybrid 'Ba dshah' gave higher yield with combination Of organic manure and fertilizers at 80 + 40 kg N + P2O5/ha. Maximum agronomic efficiency was recorded in bo th the hybrids with 40 kg N + 20 kg P2O5/ha application under all the sourc es of organic manure, though it was highest with vermicompost at 10 tonnes/ ha.
