Guttoside, a naturally manipulated andrographolide glucoside has been isola ted from Phlogacanthus guttatus Nees (Acanthaceae) made available from humi d rain forest of Arunachal Pradesh, India. The structure of the new compoun d has been elucidated on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral data.
