Abstract
The vibrational spectrum and antifungal activity of 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzald ehyde thiosemicarbazone have been reported. The thermodynamic functions hav e been calculated using the IR frequencies. The group sensitive fundamental s are compared with those of similar molecules already reported in the lite rature. The-antifungal activity of the said compound has been screened agai nst Rhizopus, Aspergillus nidulence, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger and Alternaria alternate.
