J. Lewinski et al., On the mechanism of four-coordinate aluminum alkyls interaction with dioxygen, evidence for spatial demands in the autoxidation reaction, INORG CH C, 2(4), 1999, pp. 131-134
The reactivity of four-coordinate dialkylaluminum derivatives of pyrazole t
owards dioxygen, particularly with regard to the effect of steric hindrance
s caused by the metal center bonded substituents and those resulting from t
he ligand, has been investigated. Our preliminary results show that spatial
demands play a vital role in the autoxidation of four-coordinate aluminum
alkyls. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A, All rights reserved.
