Abstract
An SU(2) algebraic model is proposed for vibrational spectra of bent triato mic molecules, where Fermi resonances between the stretching and the bendin g modes are considered. As an example, the model is applied to the 142 vibr ational energy levels below 9000 cm(-1) in the electronic ground state of n itrogen dioxide.
