Abstract
Propagation of a transversely polarized time-harmonic electromagnetic plane wave in a continuously stratified anisotropic slab under normal and obliqu e incidence is considered. An exact analytical frequency-domain approach to the problem of the simultaneous reconstruction of the medium parameters is presented. Uniqueness of the reconstruction is discussed and the recoverin g algorithms are given.
