Abstract
A new method for determining the transport spin polarization, point contact tunneling from a low temperature superconductor into a ferromagnet, is use d to determine the spin polarization of several LaSrMnO thin films and crys tals. The Andreev process and its utility in measurements of spin-polarizat ion are described. Preliminary results for the spin polarization of LSMO ar e presented. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics.
