Abstract
Three important properties of the two-dimensional (2D)-vector Preisach mode l are investigated. It is shown that these properties are necessary and suf ficient conditions for the representation of a 2D-vector hysteresis relatio n by this model. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics.
