Abstract
We discuss simulation results of three different models for the pinning of the domain walls in permanent magnets as a function of temperature. They co rrespond to pinning of the wall by periodic arrays of planes, faces of cube s and pyramids. The pinning potential can repel or attract the domain walls . The simulation results are compared with recent experimental data for the 2:17 magnets. (C) 1999 American Institute of Physics. [S0021-8979(99)24108 -4].
