Abstract
Solid state electrochemical devices (ECDs) for smart windows, large area di splays and automobile rearview mirrors are of considerable technological an d commercial interest. In this paper, we studied the electrochromic propert ies of amorphous and polycrystalline CVD carbonyl tungsten oxide films and the possibility for sol-gel thin TiO2 film to play the role of passive elec trode in an electrochromic window with solid polymer electrolyte.
