Abstract
The structural and physical properties of the title compounds (where P -S,S-DMEDT-TTF is pyrazino- S,S-dimethylethylenedithio-tetrathiafulval ene and EDO-S,S-DMEDT-TTF is ioxy-S,S-dimethylethylenedithio-tetrathlf ulvalene) show that these crystals are 2D metals with unusual behaviou r for temperatures lower than that of metal- insulator transition (les s than or equal to 50K).
