Abstract
Single crystals of (PO2)(4)(WO3)(2m) (m=5) have been studied by transp ort (resistivity, magnetoresistance and thermopower) measurements. The y reveal a metallic behavior with anomalies in the resistivty vs tempe rature showing an elbow at T-1=100K and a weak hump around T-2=30K. Gi ant magnetoresistance appears below T-2. Both anomalies can also be ob served as kinks in the thermopower behavior. They could be associated with Peierls instabilities and charge density waves.
