Abstract
The preparation and electrical and magnetic properties of the new comp ounds (TTF)(3) [Au(pds)(2)](2).2.8 CH2Cl2 and (TTF)[Au(pds)(2)] are re ported. In the first compound there are segregated stacks of TTF, arra nged as trimers. (TTF)[Au(pds)(2)] has an unusual anisotropic magnetic behaviour and the EPR studies suggest that there are stacks of TTF mo lecules along the crystal axis. (TTF)[Au(pds)(2)] is a poor semiconduc tor (rho = 1.06 x 10(4) Omega.cm, at room temperature), with an activa tion energy of 0.245 eV.
