Abstract
Under microwave irradiation C-60 undergoes Diels-Alder and 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions within the scale of minutes to afford the respective c ycloadducts in similar or increased yields related to the described me thods. This methodology overcomes the long reaction times required und er classical heating conditions.
