Abstract
The paper presents the synthesis of acylated and esterified derivatives of collagen hydrolyzates. Also, the influence of average molecular weight, typ e of reactive, pH, temperature and reactant concentration on the properties of the resulting products are discussed. Blocking of the basic function ha s been made in aqueous medium with acid chlorides and anhydrides. A non-aqu eous method has been used for esterification with aliphatic alcohols.
