Abstract
We propose a novel grating-in-etalon device for wavelength division mu ltiplexing (WDM) applications. After presenting the device concept and a specific design of the device configuration, we report a first proo f-of-concept demonstration of a 1 x 40 polarization insensitive WDM de vice in LiNbO3.
