Abstract
Cesium perfluorooctanoate surfactant molecules, dissolved in water and aggr egated into micelles, are investigated by F-19-decoupled C-13 NMR relaxatio n experiments at three different magnetic fields. The data estimate the ord er parameter profile of the perfluorooctanoate chain which differs both in magnitude and in shape from the order parameter profile of protonated octan oate.
