Abstract
Rheological properties of Na-activated bentonite were studied after adding poly(vinyl)pyrolidone (PVP). The experimental results have been discussed c onsidering bentonite types and concentrations of additives PVP. In the use of the bentonite clay sludges in industry, the addition of PVP polymer is r ecommended if an increase in viscosity is desired. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scienc e B.V. All rights reserved.
