Abstract
Capacitively and inductively loaded CPW resonators have been studied It has been shown that the proposed resonators can be used to achieve a slow-wave effect without occupying extra surface area. The resonators also have a go od performance as compared with the conventional half-wavelength CPW resona tor. Moreover the variation in the number of fingers for the capacitively l oaded CPW has some influence on the resonance frequency, whereas the variat ion in the number of strips in the inductive CPW has no influence on both t he resonance frequency and the performance.
