Abstract
Electromagnetic wave scattering from a right-angled U-bend in a parallel pl
ate is investigated. Simple analytic series solutions are obtained using th
e Fourier transform, mode matching, and residue calculus. The reflection an
d transmission coefficients are calculated in terms of a U-bend geometry. (
