Abstract
An extended interpolation problem on a Riemann surface is formulated in ter ms of local rings and ideals. A sufficient condition for Nevanlinna paramet rization is obtained. By means of this, Heins theorem on Pick-Nevanlinna in terpolation in doubly connected domains is generalized to ex tended interpo lation.
