Meanings of 'research' and 'researcher' - The clinician perspective

This study explored the meaning of 'research' and 'researchers' from the po int of view of clinicians. It extended the work of a previous exploratory s tudy (Cusick & Rotem, 1994) to further describe research involvement by cli nicians, their views on the nature of activities constituting research, the ir definitions of research, and their views on attributes of researchers.
