Abstract
The Ta-180(m)( gamma, gamma')Ta-180 reaction that was investigated by LINAC produced 4 MeV endpoint energy bremsstrahlung. The decay signatures of Ta- 180 were detected, with an effective cross section of 32+/-11 mu b; 300+/-1 10 mu b MeV was found for the reaction cross section integrated up to 4 MeV . The results obtained provide independent confirmation of previously dispu ted results in the literature. [S0556-2813(99)03904-7].
