Abstract
This paper reports analysis of the scaled factorial moments in two-dimensio nal rapidity-azimuth phase space using data of O-16-AgBr interactions at 60 GeV/nucleon to study the nature of the hidden phase transition in multipar ticle production. The analysis indicates the occurrence of a phase transiti on of nonthermal nature. [S0556-2813(99)00804-3].
