Abstract
Nucleation fluxes and numbers of nuclei are evaluated as functions of time and the quench rate, q, using asymptotic technique. In contrast to predicti ons of conventional (adiabatic) nucleation descriptions with the number of quenched-in nuclei scaling as q(-1), a different scaling q(-alpha) is obser ved with nonuniversal, model-dependent values of alpha<1.
