Abstract
Ac impedance spectroscopy was applied to the study of the interfacial prope rties of lithium metal exposed to pure tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether. In the reaction between the solvent and lithium a passivating film is form ed on the metal. A protective character of the films was also illustrated f or electrodeposited lithium layers using the electrochemical quartz microba lance (EQMB) method. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
