Abstract
A series of ketene dithioacetal derivatives of 2,5-piperazinedione were pre pared from the reactions of alkylbromides and carbon disulfide with 1,4-dia cetyl-2,5-piperazinedione in the presence of tetrabutyl ammonium bromide. A cetyl groups have been removed with the assistance of amines.
