The heat capacity of neodymium aluminate NdAlO3 has been measured by low-te
mperature adiabatic calorimetry from 4 to 420 K, yielding S-o (298.15 K)=(9
9.3+/-0.3)J K-1 mol(-1). For temperatures up to 900 K the heat capacity has
been derived from enthalpy-increment measurements (52-880 K) using high-te
mperature drop calorimetry. The two sets of calorimetric data are in excell
ent agreement and show no transition in the measured temperature range. (C)
