Abstract
The heat capacity of neodymium aluminate NdAlO3 has been measured by low-te mperature adiabatic calorimetry from 4 to 420 K, yielding S-o (298.15 K)=(9 9.3+/-0.3)J K-1 mol(-1). For temperatures up to 900 K the heat capacity has been derived from enthalpy-increment measurements (52-880 K) using high-te mperature drop calorimetry. The two sets of calorimetric data are in excell ent agreement and show no transition in the measured temperature range. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
