Abstract
In the title compound, diethyl(2-hydroxybenzyl)ammonium nitrate, C11H18NO+.
NO3-, the mean value of the C-N-C angles in the protonated amino side chai
n (112.1 degrees) is ca 3 degrees greater than that observed for nonprotona
ted units. The C-O distance [1.356(2)Angstrom] is typical of an aromatic C-
OH bond.
